Walk-A-Thon

My dear friend, Jenn, and I decided to go for an intense walk at the mall yesterday. She's due 3 days after me. It's been a lot of fun to go through this pregnancy with her. We really motivate each other.
Her husband volunteered to watch the kids while we went on our intense walk. Of course we made it a little easy for him by making sure that the kids were down for their naps. What a man! We are very thankful for him.
Well, we got to the mall and walked and walked and walked. Jenn was given instructions on lunges for our walks from her chiropractor. They felt really good. We both wondered why we hadn't been doing these from the very beginning. We walked for like 2 hours. Every now and then, she would have to stop to get through some contractions. I had a few as well but I kept walking but boy did they hurt.
When we were done, we were very glad to be DONE! Yes, we both waddled out the mall and thankfully no strangers commented on the pregnant women! I dropped her off home and then gathered my little chick to head over to my sister's house.
She gave me her work address but I some how got lost and wasn't able to pick up her house keys. At this point, I just decided to head to her house, knowing that she still had an hour and half to get off of work. I figured I'd take Isabella to the park and play for a bit.
When we got there, the beautiful plan I had to hang out at the park was ruined when I saw that it was flooded from all the rain the day before. It was a very sad moment. I knew I couldn't sit in the car for an hour so I pulled Isabella's umbrella stroller out and decided to walk some more. This was pretty pathetic. I walked slowly looking at my swollen ankles and my watch thinking, "DEAR LORD!!!!!"
After walking for a while, I decided to walk to their club house. We rested for a bit there and then got a phone call from my sister letting us know she was pulling in. When we finally went up a flight of 3 stairs, I was able to FINALLY sit and prop my feet. I have never felt so much pain in my life...HA!
I guess, I'm glad that I got that work out but today, I choose to do absolutely NOTHING!! Anyway, here's a video of Isabella early in the morning doing exercises on her ball - Basically imitating mommy. Gotta love the Birth Ball!
