Uncle Daniel and the Kids
Sweet Caiden
This was like 4 days of being home - he's pretty proud of being in our family ;)

Yup, I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to update the blog. Life with two has been really challenging - in a good way. I'm thankful that although I was quite worried about how our schedule would look like, it's not as bad as I thought. The transition into two kids, by the grace of God, has been easier in some ways than when it was just one. I think having gone through it already makes it a bit less shocking - HA!
Since we got home from the hospital, Caiden has slept well. We honestly thought we would be exhausted like the first time as parents. It hasn't been that way at all. I think the difference would have to be co-sleeping. It's nice having Caiden right next to me at night. He eats and goes right to sleep which means mom gets to sleep.
We recently put him in a bassinet since he's been moving a lot more. With his strong kicks and loud grunts, I'm able to sleep a lot better with him in his playpen/bassinet. I loved that I was able to have him so close to me the first few weeks. Now at 10 weeks, he's doing just fine.
Isabella LOVES her brother. She is so gentle with him. I love the conversations that I hear when she's near him. She will touch his little hands and say, "Caiden, I like your hands...I like your hair, I like your elbows, I like your noooooose." Yes, she drags the words out at times. She is sweet. And I LOVE that he smiles as she compliments every little thing about him.
